Inventory at a glance

The Inventory module is where your product catalogue lives. There are three ways to work with it — pick the one that suits the task:

View Menu path Best for
Product list Inventory › Product list A dense table: searching, filtering, exporting, mass editing via exports
Product grid Inventory › Product grid Visual browsing by category, with tiles showing images, prices and stock; quick popup editing
Product edit (quick stock workspace) Inventory › Product edit Scan or pick one product and jump straight into its full editor

Product list (table view)

The product list is a server-side table with a thumbnail, name, category, reference number, barcode, buy/sell prices, discount, VAT, margin, stock, location, best-before date, supplier and status columns. Around it:

  • Status buttons — Active, Inactive, Show bundles only — refetch the table for just those products.
  • Advance search — a collapsible panel with a filter for almost every column (category, brand, tags, price ranges, stock ranges, best-before dates, supplier, and so on). Numeric and date filters accept from / to ranges plus a match-type selector.
  • Column visibility — choose which columns are shown; your choice is remembered by the browser.
  • Per-row actions — the gear icon at the end of a row opens Edit (the full product editor), Duplicate (creates a copy) and Delete. Clicking the status badge toggles the product active/inactive; clicking the stock figure opens the stock flow view.
  • Exports — Copy, CSV, Excel, PDF and Print of the filtered table.

Product grid (tile view)

The grid shows one scrolling column per category. Choose categories from the strip at the top (multi-select is allowed, All items shows everything), resize the tiles (S/M/L), and use the quick search box to filter by name, barcode or box code. Each tile shows the product image, status, prices, stock and barcode — click a tile's Edit button (or its name) to open the product popup, or use the tile's dropdown for duplicate / activate / deactivate / delete.

Three coloured dots on each tile show where the product is visible: B2C webshop (WordPress), B2B app and Inventory app. Clicking a dot toggles that channel on or off for the product.

The product popup vs the full editor

From the grid (and from Add new item), editing happens in a popup that contains the same tabs as the full editor — Settings, Price, Inventory costs, Stock, Bottle deposit, Bundle, Web app details, Delivery and Media. Its footer has three buttons:

  • Quick create — saves and closes the popup.
  • Create & edit — saves and opens the product in the full editor, which additionally shows a live Preview tab and the Activity log.
  • Cancel — discards the changes (a brand-new unsaved product is removed).

Validation errors are highlighted in red and the popup switches to the tab that needs attention.
