Resolve common app problems
Use the visible messages and location/access checks to recover from lookup, scanning, connection, or save problems.
Follow these steps
Check access and location
For a missing card or locked action, verify the intended user is signed in and the device/action permissions allow it. For missing stock or records, check the working location and date filters.
Check the correct scan context
Use a product barcode in a product editor and a record code in an order/transfer list. Use a user login QR in User login, and an account QR in account setup.
Recover an unavailable lookup
Refresh, clear restrictive filters, retry a source-stock lookup, and check connectivity. An unavailable stock value is not a confirmed zero quantity.
Read save results before retrying
Correct the fields identified by validation. After a timeout, check the saved record, receipt confirmation, or current stock before submitting again.
Finish receiving completely
Received status alone does not mean every line is confirmed. Reopen the record and inspect each line’s confirmation state.

Where to tap
Retry source stock
Retry the failed lookup. Do not treat an unavailable result as zero stock.
Quick reference
| What you see | What to do in the app |
|---|---|
| Camera button missing | Enable Scan by camera in Settings, then reopen the workflow. |
| No quantity question | Enable Auto Show qty popup. In receiving, review the current received total before scanning. |
| Incoming transfer not listed | Use its destination as the working location, adjust the date range, and refresh. |
| Product not found | Check the code, clear filters, and search by name. Use Add Product only when creation is intended. |
| Already confirmed in CMS | Review the line’s saved received amount. Another scan does not add another receipt. |
| Shelf created but stock failed | Refresh, locate that shelf, and complete its stock addition instead of creating a duplicate shelf. |
| Offline banner or failed update | Restore connectivity and refresh. Local staged products are not proof that a stock/order mutation was submitted. |
The lookup or action succeeds, or the visible error identifies the information your administrator needs.
